Viton®
Fluoroelastomer
Rubber
Viton® fluoroelastomer is the most specified
fluoroelastomer, well known for its excellent
(400°F/200°C) heat resistance. Viton® offers excellent
resistance to aggressive fuels and chemicals.
Viton® rubber material is specified because
there is a high temperature or corrosive environment in
which the rubber must perform. Fluoroelastomer rubber is most frequently used in
o-rings and other sealant type devices.
Viton® Rubber material is also used
extensively as O-Ring cord stock for the automotive,
fluid power devices, industrial appliances and chemical
plants.
